EAW Curtiss Hawk H75A2. -- France's Armee De l'Air -- GCI/5, Suippes, France 1940. Flown by Cne. Jean Accart, 12 victories, 4 probables before he was wounded and removed from action.

It is intended For use with Charles Gunst's ECA (Enemy Coast Ahead) Panel, using the Typhoon slot, and the markings are from the Battle of France. To use, unzip the *.tpc files, and the *.3dz files then place in your EAW directory.

This is a completely re-designed 3DZ model developed from a wireframe of the P40 from Microprose's "1942: Pacific Air War". The skin is also by me.

This has been something of a community project, in the best spirit of the great EAW community.

It is completely non-mirrored, courtesy of Rob Der Fuchs work. He contributed his solution to this and I was able to incorporate most of what he did. The entire fuselage and the insignia areas of the wings are separate.

Geo helped me solve some 3DZ issues with the gun fairings disappearing at certain angles.

Claudio Wilches has made the cockpit for this plane, with completely new interior and wing views. Claudio also built the shadow model and fixed a 3DZ problem with the cockpit height.

Capitan Manducas work for the pitot tube was also used and incorporated into the new model.

I would also like to thank Alessandro Borges for his 3DZ!Studio and 3DZ converter tools. Without these I could do nothing like this. And finally, I understand that the Woolfman was responsible for first adding an EAW prop and transparency to the PAW model.

Thanks, boys.

And as always, this model has an unmarked PCX included for anyone to add their own markings, with blessings from me.

Cheers,

Captain Kurt
